Our Story
Cafe au Lait was form when a group of anime nerds got together to combine their talents and hobbies to create events for our community. On February 23, 2013 we officially announce ourselves as a up and running butler & maid cafe!
Origins
Cafè au Lait is a pop up Maid Cafe group caters to our community by hosting events that make you feel right at home! These events can be located at cons, stores, and other locations within the Central Florida area. Inspired by the Cosplays Cafe trend of Japan, Maid Cafes are a place to experience the feeling of cuteness overload from your maids who serve you yummy treats and entertain you through games, performances and more. Cafè au Lait takes this a step further by making our main focus on guest's experiences. With our professional yet friendly approach, we strive to keep a personal authentic connection with all of our guest. At our Butler & Maid Cafe you will enjoy dances, games, and music while you eat. We provide unique snacks and drinks for guest to try new items or snag hard to find fan favorites. Our goal is to bring you events that gather together like minded fans of pop culture to strengthen the bonds within our community.

We are located in Orlando, Florida but like to branch out to other areas in Central Florida. We have hosted events outside of Orlando such as Metrocon (Tampa) in 2014 and Fl Polycon (Lakeland) in 2018. We hope we can continue to host at other Central Florida conventions in the near future! Our main convention events will be hosted at Omni Fandom Expo once a year.

We do many different events but we mainly try to give you the experience of a true maid cafe like those in japan. If your wondering what a maid cafe is it is like going to a cafe where your waiters & waitress are dress as maids & butlers and provide a different servicing as they do more then just give you food. They can decorate your food, play games with you and talk to you about common interest.Also you can watch different performances while you eat or join interactive games. If you are interested in any of this then come and see us as we may be hosting an event in your area!
